extent with your travel plans. I know that time is
against you and you may want to travel as soon as the
next 24-48 hours but you need to be clam and not rush
into accepting the first price offer. The secret to

Forget about turning up at the airport and going
directly to the airline office. I am not saying that you
cannot get a cheap flight deal this way, what I am
saying is that if you use this method you have no plan
B. You are already at the airport so you have to accept
the price if you want to get on the flight, and the
airline office will know this. What they do not want is
hundreds of passengers turning up last minute to book
flight tickets because word got out that you can get a
great deal this way.

to call around all the big companies that specialize on
cheaper airfare. I do not mean the normal travel shops
that offer holiday packages and car hire. What I mean is
cheap flight shops that you sometimes see on the high
street. Many of them have now relocated to offices so
they do most of their business on the telephone.

locate them just go to the Yellow Pages or try and find
them on the television teletext and ceefax programs.
This is one of my secret sources for locating flight
tickets. While most passengers will visit their high
street holiday shop to book flights, I just turn on my
television, find a one way last minute flight and note
down the telephone number and the code number of the
deal. One quick call and I have purchased my tickets and
I can pick them up at the airport. This is the most
