If you are searching for cheap air flights then you
should avoid the travel agents because not only do they
not have the presence in the marketplace but most agents
will not deal with all the airlines that fly on your
route. So even if you did get a quote it does not mean
you could not get a cheaper flight ticket somewhere
else. Travel agents are fine if you are booking a
complete vacation package such as flight, hotels and
transfers. If all you are booking is flights then you
should look elsewhere.
I have nothing against travel agents, in fact they do
a good job especially if you are looking for late
vacation deals. Many people make the mistake of visiting
these same agents when all they need are flight tickets.
Just because they may have hot a good deal on the
vacation package last year does not mean that you will
get the same type of deal when you are only booking
schedules flights. Now there is an exception to this

item, they sell everything that is in demand and so they
will also offer fruit and vegetables. Now you know you
are not going to get quality vegetables here and they

convenience. Now if you went to a specialist vegetable
market where there are many stalls all selling the same
vegetables then you can be sure that the prices will be
lower and the quality higher. This is because of the
competition.
The same can be said of flights. To get the cheapest
flights you have to buy from the specialists and these
are flight shops and of course the airlines themselves.
These agencies and some call them bucket shops are not
found on the high street. they are hidden away from
public view and operate in back street office spaces.
They ply their trade online and by telephone to cut
their overheads. These flight shops are the best places
to find cheap air flights to any destination at any time
of the year. This is a dedicated marketplace for flights
so you can be sure the flights will be at the cheapest
possible.
Now I mentioned that there is an exception to this at
the travel agents. This is because many of them are
owned by travel Companies that have their own aircraft
fleet. These charter aircraft are full of the agencies
clients who have book vacation packages. But there maybe
some cheap seats on the charter flights so they are
worth looking at. Many of the flight shops also deal
with charter flights but if you have problems try the
travel agencies. It's a good source for cheap air
flights on charter aircraft.
